noise coming from my rear hub

Thanks Josh, had a feeling it might be the bearings. Don't know much about mechanics but that seemed the most likely culprit. One last question; is it going to screw up anything if I keep riding unti…

noise coming from my rear hub

Thanks Josh. Yeah I understand it's tough to diagnose such a thing via a forum. Checked out Carl's tip but there's no rubber boot. They're Neuvation rims...M20s I think and look to be fairly sealed,…

It will probably make you more mad than anything from the constant noise. It'll drag a little, but it shouldn't mess up too much. If it's frozen, there's a possibility it could scar the axle a little, but it shouldn't be to that point yet. I'd still…

I've had to do new bearings on some Neuvations before. They're pretty simple to do... not the most intricate hub design. May have something to do with it. Call up Neuvation if that's the case. I've seen them send out new bearings on the house in cer…

Forgot to ask... what brand/model of wheels?

Carl's got a good suggestion. If lubing doesn't work, try seal removal. Back when I was on the road with a pro women's team in 2007, I had to remove all the rubber dust seals from the drive side of their wheels because of dragging/squeaking/etc. I h…

Do you have a rubber boot covering the non-drive side bearings? Sort of cone shaped? If so, like on one of mine it might need a little love. Some lightweight oil of some grease. Carl

Bought both videos this weekend off the strength of the review and interview on the VR podcast and am not disappointed in the slightest. Did the Downward Spiral this morning and thought it was absolutely fantastic. 60 minutes on the trainer NEVER we…

I thought the podcast was great. I know that some people probably have a problem with the running time but I am not one. Really entertaining and informative, plus a refreshing mix of topics. Can't wait until the next one.
