What woud you like the VeloReviews community to know about you?
My name is Jeff Helfand and I created VeloReviews with the goal of building a community which embraces transparent communications between consumers, manufacturers and industry people while helping EVERYONE get the most enjoyment out of this sport which we all love!

VeloReviews has grown to the point where the community has taken it over. Now I am just one of the many voices you will find on "VR".

Thanks for inviting me to be your friend. The podcast's recent discussion of foam rolling has changed my life.

PS Really liked the interview with Fun Run Robby a few months back. Listening to the podcast brought me to the site. You really should plug the site more on the pod... the site really is a robust community/social network and not merely a consumer/manufacturers conduit.

Hi Jeff,
Did you see the wee pistelero boy go today , he is a magic bike rider. If shleck wants to win the TT he will have to kidnap me and wee bert and make me ride the tt with a [mission imposible style mask of bert on FRR] That is the only way the shleck lad is going to win the TDF

Best wishes

Thanks for the welcome. I go by "Rick" but after 20 years in Law Enforcement, I answer to a lot of other things as well.

Hey Jay, You're right about the cobbles. I think that that was a great way to make a flat stage exciting. I hope that the tour revisits them.

Solvang Century ride

Well, we successfully traversed the roads of the Central Coast of California this past weekend and help the Challenged Athletes Foundation in the process.

The vineyards and orchards we rode through were gorgeous! The two BIG mountain climbs, were a bit painful. I think we're all looking forward to riding in this region again some day soon.
