I do not know. I would see your bike fit professional, explain the situation, and have them do a cleat fit and evaluate your leg extension again. It probably won't move too much at all, and even if they charge you for it, it's worth it, especially f…

I'm assuming since your running it fixed and freewheel on occasion that you're using caliper brakes on the bike. The reason most folks are trying to talk you out of switching is because when a fixed gear is under braking forces (you stopping pedalin…

Bad form, Bert. I think he was scared. You couldn't have put it past him... he DID attack a teammate who was higher ranked on GC last year, too...

That's a good one. I tried to order one two days ago for a customer, but they're out of stock at BOB and also at one of our major distributors, QBP. We carry the CoPilot Model A trailer that has a jogging attachment. It's a pretty good trailer/jogg…

A kick in the @$$. Just because the gears are there doesn't mean you have to use them. Shift to something a little bit tougher and muscle through it. Just my opinion... What derailleur do you have on the back with that 11-34t cassette? Curious...

I'd guess it's a high limit screw adjustment. Tinker with it, back and forth, and see if that fixes it. SRAM. Powerlock masterlinks also stick from time to time. Before you fasten it, squirt some lube onto each of the pins.

Product Review - Wheeltags

A few months ago while trolling the web for some new bike stuff, I stumbled upon a company called Wheeltags, who make replacement decals for deeper, aero-profile wheels. I was running a set of Shimano Dura-Ace 50mm tubular wheels, so the idea of so… Continue

VeloReviews.com Chat

Does anyone visit the chat room on a regular basis? I check it every time I log on, but it seems like I never catch anyone there except on Tuesday Nights while BicycleRadio.com is on.

If you do utilize the chat room, when are you there? I'd love to stir up some friendly bicycle banter with some users! Should there be a certain time to stop by for certain subjects, or what? Let's talk about it...

Hi Josh, thanks for answering my question on the podcast. Simple Green was the cleaner I was concerned about, so that was the perfect answer!

Hi Josh,
Strange but True

Last evening2/5/10 turned up to the Verulam CC 10M Time Trial. The club champion who is a 56:03 [25 miles] 1:07:52 [30 miles] and last year won the hilly Chiltern 100 [ One of the toughest Sportives in the uk]. The Guy is a top club racer, well last night he turned up on his TT bike with the rear disc Wheel covered in packaging tape [It was an normal spoked wheel underneath]. I had a go at doing my own on a Mavic CXP 30 wheel, there is a photograph on my veloreviews page. I have not tryed it yet, what do you think of this method?

thanks FRR

PS The club champion turned up for a TT race on Sunday and all his competitors were laughing about his tape disc wheel, however he had the last laugh , he won the TT Well done Johnathon Shubert of the Verulam CC, he has also just graguated from Loughborough University with a first class honars degree in Engineering

Hi Josh,
Thinking of you as i watch the golf from Augusta Today as i watched the Paris Robaix i saw how rough the terrain is with the cobbles and uneven roads. Are the wheels and tyres the ones that would be used in the Tour de France? or do they use ones more suited to the conditions, suprised they were not more punctures.

All the best

Hey Josh, Plochman here, Ning has me locked out under my other profile. I've sent an e-mail to jeff to see if he can straighten it out. In the mean time I posted my race report on my blog site here http://www.iridebicycles.com/content/tampa-twilight-crit-2010-race-report

Hello, Josh.
I got those nikes in the mail today. Aside for some clear coat coming off on the bottom of the shoe, they are in pretty good condition.
Thanks for all the help.
