Chico Brian replied to the forum topic Nabali is the big loser from Contador case taking so long in the group
Pro Cycling 8 hours, 22 minutes agoWell, Alberto will be on fresh legs for the Vuelta…that’s for sure. Frank taking the Giro is certainly what RadioShack/Leopard will have in mind. Here is my concern with that. The profile for the Tour is not as […]

Pro Cycling 11 hours, 3 minutes agoI think Andy attacked all he could in the Alps. Perhaps if he hadn’t been worried about Contador he would have tried something in the Pyrenees as well. But it seems Cadel was able to battle back at his pace on […]

Bicycle Commuting 11 hours, 9 minutes agoThis week we had fairly typical temperatures for NC at this time of year, mid 30s in the morning. My ride takes about an hour and I have showers at work, so I wear bike clothes. I have been pretty cozy with the following clothes. I start with a wicking t-shirt and Novara padded bicycle briefs. Then I wear Novara pants, either Stratos or Windpants,…[Read more]

I have that Bike Repair app on my iPod Touch. I don’t use it too much, but it is worth the money for refreshing the brain after overhauling 2000 beach bikes in a row.
BTW: excellent app if you know bikes.

Pro Cycling 13 hours, 47 minutes agoJack, that is a good point. Also, however, Andy Schleck could be a big loser in last year’s Tour. Remember, he spent the entire race fixated on Alberto. He only animated the race when Alberto tried his breakaway. […]

My mind is like a steel trap – a steel trap that was been left in the woods for decades and is so rusty it just doesn’t work anymore.

Last week I only managed to ride to work twice. This week I am at least up to 3 times. I am thinking of writing about what I wear when the temperature is in the mid-30s.

DID you exercise today: Workout Accountabilabuddies! 1 day, 11 hours ago4 mile hike yesterday on a trail not too far from my home. The distance isn’t bad at all…but it became a whole different workout when I had to carry my 40-45lb youngest son 80% of the time. My hip flexors, traps, neck and calves are all VERY sore today!
